Travis McGaha

Host of All Clear Firefighter Wellness / Executive Board Member North Carolina Firefighter Cancer & Wellness Alliance

Travis McGaha is a firefighter, Certified Fire Investigator, Deputy Fire Marshal, and the creator and host of the All Clear Podcast. With more than 16 years in the fire service, Travis has dedicated his career to helping firefighters build healthier bodies, stronger minds, and longer, more fulfilling careers. As a founder of the North Carolina Firefighter Cancer & Wellness Alliance, he has become a trusted voice in firefighter wellness, leadership, cancer prevention, and professional development.

Through the All Clear Podcast, Travis brings together respected experts, experienced firefighters, and influential leaders to share practical lessons that can be applied on and off the job. His philosophy is rooted in the Kitchen Table Approach—the belief that the most important conversations in the fire service happen around the kitchen table, where stories are shared, wisdom is passed on, and the next generation of leaders is developed.

Whether discussing firefighter health, leadership, career development, or life beyond the badge, Travis’s mission is simple: leave the fire service better than he found it. Every episode, article, and resource is designed to give firefighters practical tools they can use immediately to strengthen their careers, protect their health, and build a balanced life that lasts long after retirement.

When he’s not behind the microphone, Travis mentors firefighters across the profession, and continues building resources that help first responders thrive—because the strongest crews are built one conversation at a time.
